Gratitude is like the rich soil out of which grows the fruit of faithfulness. As long as other motives are mixed in your obedience, the fruit will not be perfect. Pride of achievement, the desire for recognition or reward, competition and jealousy\u2014all these add<br \/> bitterness to the fruit. Gratitude is the theme of heaven\u2019s praise. It binds My people\u2019s hearts to Me and to one another, and destroys dividing walls. So do not lag in the exercise of this grace.
