{"id":1614,"date":"2015-11-16T10:58:13","date_gmt":"2015-11-16T15:58:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.paracletepress.com\/index.php\/siena-experience\/"},"modified":"2015-11-16T10:58:13","modified_gmt":"2015-11-16T15:58:13","slug":"siena-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.paracletepress.com\/index.php\/siena-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"Siena Experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By\u00a0<em>Sr. Fidelis<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Last week I had the privilege of touring the magnificent Siena Cathedral in Italy, where there was an entire library off to the left of the main sanctuary containing chant books from the 15th century.\u00a0The whole room was outlined with book after book of the most beautiful Graduals and Antiphonaries filled with stunning illuminations.\u00a0The amount of beauty and detail in these jewel-toned miniatures took our breath away.
