Psalm 126:5<br \/> The early rain and the latter rain\u2014tears given to water the dry ground of your soul. The early rains were the tears that came in your youth, though you were embarrassed by them and did not understand what they were doing. But they opened the ground of your soul to receive impressions of My Spirit and the seed of My Word to grow silently therein. The latter rain is your present gift, again to enable your soul to receive My life-giving Word. Do not despise the tears, and do not try to delve into secrets hidden from you.
