December 13 Echoes of Eternity
When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth; for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak; and He will show you things to come.
John 16:13
My Spirit I have given to lead you into all truth. Do not be surprised that you have had to “change your mind”—because I have continued to deepen and enlarge your tiny, shallow faith over the years. You have traveled a crooked path—setting off in your own direction over and over again. But My grace has not failed you. “Through many dangers, toils and snares you have already come.”
You know them only in part—and have little awareness of how dangerous some of those “detours” were for you.
As My grace has not failed you, you can count on it for those you love. Your fears are rooted in guilt and the desire to be loved by them. Cast away both and throw yourself into the ocean of My merciful love—and be at peace in your prayers. My plans far exceed your own and even a glimpse of them can fill your heart with “joy unspeakable and full of glory.”
