July 15 Echoes of Eternity
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9
My dear child, wait awhile. Do not be impatient when you do not see an immediate answer to your prayers. Waiting is an important part of the prayer process. It is a great separator of the trivial from the heartfelt request. It is a time for refining of motives in asking. It is an active time, not merely an unwanted delay. Wait awhile. My ears are open to your needs and the needs of those you hold before Me. No prayer is wasted. In My love, I take them into account and turn them to good effect, even when the answer is not what you hoped or wanted. Knowing that secret, pray
on—and wait awhile. You will have ample cause to rejoice.
