July 24 Echoes of Eternity
Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and He with me. Revelation 3:20
My dear child, why is it so hard for you to accept My words of love? Or the reality of My love for you? Have I not proved over and over that I love you with a supernatural and unfailing love? Has My care ever been lacking? Yet you draw back, frightened, guilty, defensive—even against Me. I will not force Myself beyond that inner citadel. I stand at the door and knock—for My nature is to respect what I have created and given life to. When I said “We will come in and sup with him,” I meant that a whole world of friendship awaits those who hear My voice and allow Me free entrance to the inmost recesses. It is Love that stands—that pleads. Let Me take full charge. Don’t let pride, fear, jealousy or any shame keep Me from Love’s goal. My dear child, why do you think I died for you?
