Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
Isaiah 58:6
What do I require of you, My child? I lay on you no burden but that which belongs to your peace. My requirements may seem irksome to you. I know that they often do. But they are sent for your healing and growth, and to make you what you tell Me you want to be—a blessing to others. I do not deal with you in isolation, but with all the connections of your life. Together they form the matrix of My mercies, and I use them all for My purposes.
