May 31 Echoes of Eternity
By faith . . . he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.
Hebrews 11:27
Behold and see. Yes, how often have I called you in this way—to awaken your sluggish heart, to see beyond the natural sight of your eyes. “Seeing the invisible.” But you have resisted the call, because it threatens the easy, surface look you have preferred. This is a handicap in your spiritual growth, a form of spiritual blindness.
You do not need to fear looking into the depths of your own soul. Your sins are forgiven. I remember them no more against you! You need only to see them to remember the pit from which you have been rescued, and the nature into which you lapse if you depart from Me. But I do not call you to a fearful walk. “My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” I seek maturity and trust—growing trust—in your relationship with Me. Look beyond—see the invisible realities that I have placed in your view.

May 30 Echoes of Eternity
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation 1:8
I am the beginning and source of your faith. I am the Fount from which flow the streams of life. I am the Truth that banishes the darkness of imagination and delusion. I am the End and Perfection of all your journey. Not only the Beginning and Ending, My child, but the Way between. It is only in Me that you will walk the homeward path. By staying with Me, living in Me, you can finish your course with joy. That is My desire for you—that you finish your course with joy.

May 29 Echoes of Eternity
Lord, Thou wilt ordain peace for us: for Thou also hast wrought all our works in us.
Isaiah 26:12
In My Spirit there is peace. In My Presence there is joy unspeakable and full of glory. My throne-room is filled with praise. It is My pleasure to see My children rejoicing in Me. This is why, when you enter the secret place of prayer and praise, your heart is touched deeply with this hidden joy. It is a foretaste of that which awaits the faithful soul, and is meant as a bulwark against the evil that assails
you in this world. There is another world—a world which you know now by faith.
You are not yet ready for that world, but these glimpses are My gifts to you, that you may abide in My love and fight the good fight to the end. Be at peace, My child. In My spirit there is peace.

By Sr. Nun Other At our church, this past Sunday, Pentecost was commemorated by a profusion of color. Streaming swaths of red, orange, and yellow fabric hung from the church ceiling and embraced stone columns. Everywhere one looked — both inside and out — were reminders of the extraordinary energy that was and is Pentecost. It began as #quot;Pentekostos,#quot; a Greek word meaning fifty. Divine Flame

By Sr. Nun Other

At our church, this past Sunday, Pentecost was commemorated by a profusion of color. Streaming swaths of red, orange, and yellow fabric hung from the church ceiling and embraced stone columns. Everywhere one looked — both inside and out — were reminders of the extraordinary energy that was and is Pentecost. It began as “Pentekostos,” a Greek word meaning fifty. This Judaic feast, some 1500 years old, was celebrated exactly fifty days after each Passover. God chose this same day for His new church to be born. And it wasn’t a quiet birth; it arrived amidst a noisy commotion of dramatic signs and sounds. The holy Spirit, whom Jesus called another Comforter, befriended us in “make no mistake about it” confidence and strength. The color of flame, of sunrise and sunset, he remains with us always.
